International Day of Yoga 21 June 2020

The United Nations International Day of Yoga celebrates the many benefits of practising yoga. Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice originating in India and means to join or unite and symbolises the union of body and consciousness.

Many people during COVID-19 have turned to a home yoga practice and online yoga resources. Yoga is a powerful tool that helps with the stress and anxiety of uncertainty and isolation, as well as maintaining physical and mental well-being.

Join Momentum in celebrating yoga this Sunday by checking out our short yoga video below designed to relieve neck, shoulder and upper back tension.

Or why not join one of our physiotherapists who will be teaching a free live online community class this Sunday at 9am hosted by Lululemon Canberra.

We were lucky enough to film our video at the gorgeous studios of Change Yoga and Wellness in Forde, thank you to the friendly team for helping us out.
